Sema is an airbrush artist celebrated for creating works so realistic they’re often mistaken for photographs—yet every piece begins with a blank surface and is painted entirely from scratch. With water-based acrylics, she layers detail and emotion to bring horses, human portraits, and nature to life, proving that true realism can be painted.
Her dedication to craft has earned recognition throughout 2025. At the Emerald Downs Equine Art Show, she won both the Acrylic Division and the People’s Choice Award. She was a finalist in the Masters of Equine Art 2025 International Juried Exhibition and received an Honorable Mention at the Society of West Coast Artists’ Pacific Artistry Showcase in San Francisco for Two Best Friends (mixed media/acrylic). Her work is also being featured in The Finer Arts Gallery, The Sonoran Arts League Gallery, and at the 2025 MC Presents Art & Antique Show in Teton Village, Wyoming.
For Sema, what may look like a photograph is, in fact, original hand-painted realism—art born from patience, skill, and imagination.
