With decades of entrepreneurial experience and a deep passion for glassmaking and metalwork, Kevin Whetstone crafts American-made décor and furnishings that blend artistry with durability. Using blown glass, cast and hand-forged metal, each piece is thoughtfully designed to shape light and space.
Kevin’s sculptures, constructed from molten glass, steel, copper, cast iron, and black walnut, demonstrate a controlled balance of organic warmth and industrial resilience. The integration highlights each material’s distinct properties while emphasizing their structural and aesthetic harmony.
Deliberate choice of materials embodies both organic and industrial qualities. Black walnut wood introduces warmth, texture, and natural richness, grounding the composition in tradition and craftsmanship. In contrast, steel, copper, and cast iron contribute resilience and strength, reinforcing the industrial character of the design. Molten glass adds a dynamic element, its fluidity and luminosity creating movement and balance within the overall structure.
Through Kevin’s skilled craftsmanship, raw materials are transformed into heirloom-quality, functional works of art— built to last for generations.
