When Eric immigrated from China to the United States at thirteen, the temporary language gap became his greatest creative catalyst. While learning English, he relied on his eyes, paying close attention to the subtle cues we all share but often take for granted. He realized early on that while spoken words are powerful, human emotion possesses an even faster ability to bridge any cultural distance.

Bringing a lifetime of creative intuition to the canvas, Eric’s rapid evolution as an artist follows a successful career in the fast-paced world of advertising, where he spent years mastering visual storytelling. Later, as a scuba instructor diving across five continents, he experienced a world entirely stripped of spoken language, where managing human fear, excitement, and safety relied completely on non-verbal trust.

Today, fine art is the ultimate continuation of that journey. His paintings serve as a vibrant diary of a life lived across borders and beneath the surface.
