Bela Fidel is a creator at heart, driven by her passion for both art and the natural world. A mixed media artist based in Arizona, Bela’s work is a reflection of her rich life experiences, having lived in three different countries, each with its own unique culture and way of seeing the world. These influences breathe life into her abstract paintings, where layers of texture, color, and depth in oils, acrylics, encaustics, and mixed media tell a story of connection, emotion, and exploration.

For Bela, creating is not just about producing art—it’s about expressing something deeply personal, something that words cannot always capture. She thrives on discovery, continuously pushing herself to explore new mediums, techniques, and ideas while staying true to her love of elegant aesthetics.

Alongside her passion for art is an equally profound love for animals, both wild and domestic. Bela’s compassion for all sentient beings has inspired her oil series, Endangered, Threatened, and Exploited Species. This body of work is her way of speaking out for the animals who cannot speak for themselves, raising awareness about the urgent need for their protection.

Over the years, Bela’s art has been featured in a variety of exhibitions, from Los Angeles to Arizona, where her work has been celebrated with awards, media attention, and an intrigued and excited reception from collectors and art lovers. But for Bela, the journey is far from over. She continues to seek out new artistic frontiers, guided by a desire to distill her truest personal and authentic expression—art that resonates on a soul level.
