Tim Harris has always had a great appreciation for color. This attracted him to the Native American POW WOWs where he derives inspiration for his painting. Twice a year the Artist visits animal rehabilitation centers in North Phoenix and there are many birds that can be studied up close which allows for great subjects.
Tim was introduced to Art and Architecture at Kent State University. He has traveled to over 100 Countries and enjoys visiting and experiencing new cultures.
The cacti in the paintings come from his own yard in North Phoenix, Arizona and he loves sharing his works of art with all. Several cactus painting are named for the months that they bloom in the desert.
Tim truly enjoys seeing how each individual views his work. Because his selections vary from the world of nature to a unique encapsulation of Native American culture, he loves to watch the reactions as people choose their favorites from the collection.
