Corrina Johnson grew up in Washington State and developed a love for horses, which soon followed many drawings of them.  She studied art in high school, winning an art scholarship with a local wildlife artist.  She attended School of Visual Concepts in Seattle for fashion illustration, and later studied with Ned Mueller in Seattle for two years.  She belonged to several art groups and attended workshops with many different professional artists.  She then started traveling around the country to attend art workshops with many professional artists, studying plein air painting and wildlife painting.

She starting coming to Arizona for the winters in 2003,  exhibiting in the Arizona Fine Art Expo, outdoor shows and several galleries on Main Street in Scottsdale.  She won an art scholarship to the Scottsdale Artist School and took several classes there.

In 2004, she headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the summer, doing the outdoor shows there and later a gallery.  That followed many years of returning there, painting the beautiful landscape and the many animals.  She also lived in Colorado for several years, showing at several galleries.

Corrina just returned this fall from Wyoming after being gone for 3 years, and is very inspired by the desert and the animals living there.  She currently is represented by Deselms Fine Art in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Mountain Trails Galleries in Park City, UT and Jackson Hole, Sedona, AZ, and Thunderbird Artist Gallery in Carefree.
