Sign-up for glass blowing classes with Gregory Tomb
This year, the EXPO welcomes glass artist, Gregory Tomb. Join Gregory in his studio in the Sculpture Garden where he will be demonstrating and giving glass blowing and fused glass classes. Watch Chainsaw Sculpture demos with Scott Shangraw
Join us in the Sculpture Garden at the EXPO for the opportunity to see how it all begins. Scott Shangraw will be demonstrating the process of shaping a rare piece of wood into a magnificent sculpture. The sculptures are made from local Alligator Juniper and other woods, such as walnut, cherry, mesquite, Ironwood. Join Scott in the EXPO Sculpture Garden at noon, February, 17th & 24th
Anthony barbano teaches Flameworking:intro to borosilicate glass
Anthony Barbano specializes in hand-blown gold and silver fumed glass jewelry, a contemporary glass blowing technique. Fume glass involves melting 24K gold and pure silver into glass. This year, Anthony is giving demonstrations in the Sculpture Garden, as well as offering glass classes in the art of Flameworking: Introduction to Boroscilicate at the EXPO. Lunch with us
The Cafe de EXPO is open daily from 11 am - 3 pm. Christine Hauber and Caroline Kwas a fresh, unique daily menu with recipes from around the world. Join us for lunch in the cafe or on the patio in the Sculpture Garden and spend the afternoon talking to the artists and exploring the array of fine art for sale within our 44,000 sq.ft tents.
